5월3일 오후 12시45분 고사동 영화의 거리에 있는 쌈지마켓 2층에서 디지털 제작 지원 프로그램 ‘디지털 삼인삼색’의 공식 기자회견이 열렸다. <유산>의 마하마트 살레 하룬 감독, <나의 어머니>를 만든 나세르 케미르 감독이 참석하여 질의응답 시간을 가졌다. <생일>의 이드리사 우에드라오고 감독은 자국의 비행기 사정으로 입국이 늦어져 참석하지 못했다. 하지만 5일 날 입국하여 같은 날 있을 GV에는 차질없이 참여할 예정이다. 올해 삼인삼색의 주제는 귀향이다. 하룬 감독은 “현대인들이 처한 문제와 그에 대한 대응방식”을, 케미르 감독은 “불가능해진 귀향”을 말하고 싶었다고 밝혔다.

<캡틴 에이헙>에 출연하는 프랑스 유명배우 드니 라방의 공식 기자회견이 금일 공식일정에 추가됐다. 쌈지 마켓 2층에서 2시에 열린다. 한편 <스트레인저:무황인담>의 GV는 상영 전 감독의 무대인사로 진행된다. 상영 뒤 관객과의 대화는 없으니 참고하시길.
Press Conference on Jeonju Digital Project On May 3, at 12:45 p.m. at Ssamzi, 2nd floor, there was a press conference for Jeonju Digital Project. Mahamat-Saleh Haroun of "Expectations" and Nacer Khemir of "The Alphabet of My Mother" were present. Idrissa Ouedraogo of "The Birthday" could not make it due to delay in arrival, however he will arrive on May 5 and be attending GV. This year's subject, 'return' was used to represent problems and answers of contemporaries by Haroun, and impossibility to go back by Khemir. The film was screened for the first time and will be scheduled again on May 5, 5 p.m.

JIFF Is Throwing Parties Three dissimilar parties will rock Jeonju Friday night. 'Work in Progress,' a showcase for low-budget, indie films, is having a wrap-up party at Mugunghwa hall, Core Hotel at 8 p.m. 'Korean Cinema on Fire' for Korean filmmakers showing works in JIFF takes place at Fish and Grill, behind Megabox, at 10 p.m. There is a party for all audiences at JIFF Space at 10 p.m. Beer and snacks are on the house.
Unannounced Denis Lavant Press Conference A press conference with Denis Lavant, a famed french actor featured in "Captain Ahab," is newly scheduled at 2 p.m. today, at Ssamzi, 2nd floor. "Sword of the Stranger" GV is having the director's stage greeting prior to the screening. There will be no Q&A session after the screening.
