개막식, 축제의 시작을 알리다

부천국제판타스틱영화제가 7월12일 오후 7시, 부천시민회관 대공연장에서 열한 번째 개막 축포를 쏘아 올렸다. 영화배우 김태우와 추상미가 사회를 맡은 이날 개막식은 홍건표 조직위원장의 개막선언으로 시작해 1시간가량 진행됐다. 무대에 오른 한상준 집행위원장은 개막 인사를 통해 “어제 비가 와서 걱정을 많이 했지만, 영화 <사랑은 비를 타고>의 한 장면처럼 오히려 신나는 영화제가 될 것 같다”고 말했으며, 심사위원장인 정창화 감독은 “어려운 소임이 부담스럽지만, 이렇게 늦게나마 불러준 것에 감사하다”고 소감을 밝혔다. 영화배우 장미희, 강수연을 비롯해 약 1300명의 관객이 객석을 채운 이날 개막식은 국악그룹 IS밴드의 공연과 피판가이인 이완, 송창의의 무대인사로 흥을 돋우었으며 개막작인 <별빛 속으로>가 상영되면서 막을 내렸다.

Grand Opening For PiFan

Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival opened at 7 p.m. on July 12th, in Bucheon Citizen's Hall. Hosted by actor Taewoo Kim and Actress Sangmi Choo, the opening ceremony lasted about an hour. During this time, the Chairman of the PiFan Organizing Committee Gunpyo Hong declared the start of the festival. In addition, the Festival Director Sangjun Han welcomed the audiences by stating, "The rain made me worrisome yesterday, but similar to a scene in <Singing in the Rain>, the Film Festival is probably going to be a light and fun one." Chairperson of Juries Changwha Chung also contributed his thoughts by saying, "I am nervous about the heavy responsibility but I am grateful that they have invited me." The opening night ended with 1300 people watching the opening film <For Eternal Hearts>.
