전국을 강타한 태풍갈매기로 연일 야외행사가 취소되면서 PiFan의 분위기도 조금 가라앉았다. 관객들은 영화제 홈페이지에 “혹시라도 다시 개최할 순 없냐”고 문의하며 영화제측에 안타까움을 전하는 중이다. 이선화 홍보팀장은 “기상조건을 고려해 영화제 기간 동안 취소된 공연과 야외상영을 재개하도록 애쓰고 있다. 공연팀들도 적극 협조를 내비쳤다”라고 전했다. 21일 월요일에 예정됐던 행사는 곱창전골, 사토 유키에 등이 참가하는 ‘판타스틱 콘서트’(부천시청 앞 잔디광장, 오후8시부터)와 ‘부천시민 초청 무료 영화 상영회’(오정아트홀 2시 <세브란스>, 5시 <영광의 날들>)이다. 행사 개최 여부 등 자세한 사항은 PiFan 홈페이지(www.pifan.com)를 통해 공지된다. 태풍 갈매기는 20일 일요일 오후부터 점차 세력이 약화돼 21일 월요일에는 완전히 소멸될 것으로 예상되고 있다.

With outdoor events cancelled due to torrential rain brought by typhoon Kalmaegi, PiFan has become a little less cheerful. On July 21, Fantastic Experiment Concert of Gobchangjeongol and Sato Yukie, Lawn Square in front of Bucheon City Hall, 8 pm., and screenings of <Severence>, Ojung Art Hall, 2 p.m., and <Days of Glory>, same venue, 5 p.m. were originally scheduled.
