4월30일 오후 8시 관객 현황이 새로 발표됐다. 이 시각까지의 좌석점유율은 86%로 지난해보다 크게 늘어난 상태. 전체 상영좌석수가 줄었음을 감안하면 관객수가 지난해와 비슷한 수준이라고 영화제쪽은 추정했다. 매진율은 순항이다. 토요일에는 상영작 35편 중 31편이, 일요일에는 37편 중 24편이 매진됐다. 누진 매진 편수는 같은 시각 기준으로 전체 상영작 138편 중 83편이다. 한편 휴일인 5월1일 영화제를 찾을 관객은 티켓 구매를 서둘러야 할 듯. 이날 상영하는 <홀트레인>(11:00) <한국단편의 선택4>(14:00) <스틸라이프>(17:00) <로컬시네마 전주>(17:00) 등 10편은 예매 뿐 아니라 현장 구매분도 매진이 임박했다. 2일의 <철콘 근크리트>(20:00)와 3일의 <오프로드>(11:00)도 매진이 예상된다.

Ticket Sales Favorable

April 30th 8 p.m. the film festival’s recent developments were newly announced. So far the seat occupancy rate is 86% which is maintaining a more favorable number compared to last year. Taking account of the decrease in the number of seats, the JIFF P.R. team is estimating a standard number of audiences much like last year. The sold-out rate is also on a roll. On Saturday, 31 out of 35 screenings were sold out and on Sunday 24 out of 37 were sold out. The cumulative number of sold out films on the same hour is 83 out of a total of 138 screenings. In the meantime, spectators visiting the festival on May 1st which is a holiday should make haste for tickets. Not only the reservation but also the on spot purchase for 10 films including <Wholetrain>(11:00) <Korean Shorts 4>(14:00) <Still Life>(17:00) <Local Cinema in Jeonju>(17:00) is nearly sold out. <Tekkonkinkreet>(20:00) on the 2nd and <Off Road>(11:00) on the 3rd is expected to be sold out.
