전주국제영화제와 피렌체 한국영화제(Korea Film Fest)가 27일(금) 오전 10시30분에 영화 문화 분야 교류 증진을 위한 협정을 체결했다. 송하진 조직위원장, 민병록 집행위원장, 임안자 부집행위원장, 리카르도 젤리 피렌체 한국영화제 집행위원장 등 참석자들은 경제, 교육, 문화, 제도 등 4개 부문에 관해 양 영화제가 힘을 모으자고 약속했다. 협정의 개별 내용으로는 영화계 중소기업들과 개별 영화 산업 단체 간 접촉 지지 및 장려, 각 연수 프로그램 조직 및 교육 과정 조직을 통한 교류, 영화 문화계 사절단 및 축제 관련 연합회와 영상물 보관소 등의 문화적 협력 등이다. 피렌체 한국영화제는 이탈리아 피렌체에서 열리는 한국 영화 축제로서 이탈리아 토스카나주 문화 교류단체인 <태극기-피렌체 문화협회>가 2003년부터 진행해오고 있으며, 이탈리아와 한국 간 전반적인 문화교류 활성화의 교량 역할을 하고 있다.

JIFF-Korea Film Fest Agreement

Jeonju International Film Festival and Korea Film Fest-Festival of Korean Cinema in Italy concluded an agreement on the 27th (Fri) at 10:30am to improve exchange of film culture. The participators, the President JIFF Organization Committee Song Ha-jin, the Festival Director Min Byung-lock, the Vice Festival Director An cha FLUBACHER-RHIM, Festival Director of Korea Film Fest Riccardo Gelli, all agreed to cooperate for both festivals to flourish economically, educationally, culturally and systematically. Individual content of the agreement contains major issues such as contact maintenance and promotion between minor enterprises and individual corps in the film industry; the exchange of training programs and educational courses; collaborating delegates and festival related associations, and other issues such as building an archive for film materials. These were all dealt to improve and advance the cultural exchange between the two festivals. Korea Film Fest is a Korean film festival held in Firenze, and it has been operated by 'Taegukki- Firenze Cultural Association' in Tuscany Italy since 2003, and it has served itself as a cultural bridge to rev up the cultural exchange between and in general.
