전주국제영화제 현장예매 방법이 예년과 달라졌다. 작년까지는 일단 현장 매표소를 방문하면 날짜에 관계없이 티켓을 미리 살 수 있었지만, 올해부터는 당일 상영되는 작품에 한해서만 현매가 가능하다. 영화제 초반부터 전주를 찾지 못하는 관객들을 위한 배려다. 인터넷으로 미리 예매를 하지 못했더라도 작품이 상영되는 날 일찍 서두르면 표를 얻을 가능성이 높아진 셈. 현장판매 장소는 동진 주차장 내 임시 매표소, 메가박스, 전북대 세 곳이다. 지프 패밀리 회원은 메가 박스 건너편 라운지에서도 현장구매가 가능하다.

Processing a on-spot booking at JIFF got different compared to last year. From now on, you can only buy an on-spot ticket on the very day of the screening. The adjustment is for those who cannot be at the festival from the beginning. Therefore, people can buy tickets if they become an early bird on the very day. Three box offices are placed at inside the Dongjin parking lot, Megabox, and Jeunbuk University. Tickets are also available at the Lounge across the Megabox for the JIFF family members.
