27일 오후 접속자의 폭주로 잠시 다운됐던 전주국제영화제 홈페이지가 28일 오전 복구됐다. 영화제 쪽은 “개막식을 기점으로 홈페이지에 접속하는 수가 많아졌고, 이로 인해 서버가 잠시 멎었다. 하지만 곧 서버 증설 작업 등을 거쳐 홈페이지를 정상화했고, 접속 속도도 더 빨라졌다”고 밝혔다. 또 전주영화제는 28일 저녁 9시부터 11시까지 두시간 동안 홈페이지 서비스를 중단하고 서버 점검 작업을 실시했다.

JIFF Homepage, which was down due to overloaded connections on 27th afternoon, has recovered on 28th morning. Festival headquarters said, "connections to the homepage increased from the point of the opening ceremony, however, the connection speed got even more faster after the recovery." JIFF had stopped the server and done the server inspection for two hours on 28th night, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
