In the 16th century in the Joseon Kingdom, Dam-ryeong, a noble turned governor, is being shown a real mermaid his innkeeper just cached after a storm. Moved by her beauty and her condition, Dam-ryeong requests from the innkeeper to releaser her. Five centuries later, Jun-jae, a handsome man who uses his magical skills and his sweet talk to con rich and corrupted people, goes on vacation in Spain after his last successful job. There, a mermaid gets washed ashore and starts wandering in the city. She eventually stumbles upon Jun-jae, who strangely looks exactly like Dam-ryeong, and starts following him.more
