In 1988, in a suburb of Seoul, five teenager neighbors have been friends since their childhood. Deok-seon, the only girl of the group, comes from a poor family and is not good at studying, yet she always remains cheerful. Jeong-hwan, from a rich family, often shows sarcasms but he actually dreams of becoming a soccer player. Seon-wu has lost his father when he was young but his mother’s education has made him a model student and a good son. Dong-ryong is a mature young man who has given up on his studies and now just enjoys dancing and singing. And last but not least, Taek is an unsecure and clumsy boy who has dropped out of school long ago but is a renowned go player. Their friendship will eventually help them overcome life’s ups and downs.more
